Ella Baldwin (Berta): Ella (she/her) is a Brooklyn-based playwright, actor, and director. Her work comes with a focus on devising, comedy, and uplifting femme voices. A Bard College graduate of both Theater & Performance and Written Arts, she has taught across writing and theater, and studied classical acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. Her work has been performed at En Garde Arts, the Fisher Center for Performing Arts, and the 2023 Mid-America Theatre Conference. Her most recent play Crinoidea at the Lounge is currently part of the Workshop Theater Spring Intensive. She is a founder of Lumina Theatre Co., and recipient of the Brooklyn Public Library Community Incubator Grant for a comedy workshop series in partnership with the Red Hook Initiative.
