Kevin Hunter

Kevin Hunter is an acclaimed guitarist and mandolin player from New York. With numerous accolades to his name, he founded the heavy rock band Monster Zero and contributed to several other bands in the US and abroad. Kevin has played alongside famous artists and supported major headline acts on their world tours, including television appearances. Some of the artists he has played with include Shania Twain, Janet Jackson, John Rzeznik and the GooGoo Dolls, Idina Menzel, Al Jarreau, Cindy Blackman Santana, Bill Murray, Tommy James, John Corabi (from Motley Crew), Puff Daddy, No One’s Innocent, Sixteen Down, Susan Ørum, Hal Wilner, Eric Stuart, Paul Schaffer,and Mutt Lange.

Kevin’s talent has expanded to encompass success as a composer for both film and video, including Paramount TV’s Beavis and Butt-Head. Kevin is also a renowned television actor, having starred in JJ Abrams’ Believe, and a feature film actor, having appeared in Late Night with Emma Thompson and Hulu’s Monsterland. Additionally, he has participated in multiple advertising campaigns. 

Kevin’s musical style is influenced by several legendary artists, including Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Queen, Prince, Yes, and various Latino musicians. He grew up in New York City, where he was exposed to a wide range of musical genres. Besides the city’s influence, Kevin’s father introduced him to classic country music legends like Johnny Cashand Merle Haggard. Kevin also draws inspiration from the legendary James Brown to add a touch of soul to his music.
